Released on December 21st, 2007, Alvin and the Chipmunks is another of many of the films that have CGI animation in use. The Chipmunks are famous for there high pitched squeaky voices and there songs. In fact the Chipmunk song (Christmas don't be late) spent 4 weeks at #1, sold 4 million copies in six weeks and won three Grammy's awards!. Also there voices maybe funny and cute, they are seriously great songs and it has just shown by the achievements. Also Alvin's vocal style was said to be influence for Justin Timberlake! and it was rumored that the Chipmunks signature dance routine was an inspriation for one of Beyonce's stage shows. To conclude, this demonstrates the power and influence of animation as even three cartoon characters have Alvin, Simon and Theodore can win Grammy's and inspire big name celebrities. This in turn further demonstrates the success of the animation genre. In addition, I may also make reference to the film when I am talking about the success of animation.
